In the spring of 2015, needs in our community were uncovered and NLCAZ was created to fund initiatives to empower and impact our communities. Years later, some of the very first initiatives set, are thriving and are still ongoing making an impact!

Getting media to youth/HS events is tough enough, rarely youth/HS athletes have a shot to have a real TV interview come and shine a light on them. Our partnership with HYFNTV allows us to book, for  FREE athletes interviews  for HS & youth sporting event.

Sports in k-8 simply don't exist in the public schools, resulting in costly private leagues. One missions NLCAZ has, is to ensure cost never is a prohibitor to athletes participating in sports. The NLC Youth Scholarship Initiative has funded $30k since 2016 

Trophies are awarded to those athletes and artist that do extra curricular activities, from scouts to youth football. When these student maintain straight A's (or equivalent system for k-6) in the classroom, THEY ARE ACADEMIC ALLSTARS and should be celebrated!

The Athlete Safety Initiative mission and  purpose is to initiate and support consumer safety in youth and High School sports. We support rules guidelines and standards via. city code and legislation as long as it  t puts athletes safety first.

Nothing worse than an athlete needing cleats  and it simply not being in the budget. In 2015 NLCAZ started the first Give - A - Pair, Take - A - Pair campaign. This campaign is STILL GOING!!! 8 years later. If your athlete has cleats or the need for them LET US KNOW!!
